Founded in 1968, Sister Nivedita Foundation runs an Educational Complex in Rajkot, providing quality and value education from KG to higher secondary high school. In addition, it supports and nurtures close to 100 schools in rural backward class communities in the surrounding areas through education programs, scholarships and School on Wheels program. Its efforts are directed to encourage self-learning, while developing the mind, body and spirit with a four-fold aim to develop a good human being (માણસ), a good citizen (નાગરિક), an admirer of life and its beauty (ભાવક) and an exemplary innovator (સર્જક).
Founded in 1959 on the Banks of beautiful Ambika River in Ajrai village, Adivasi Sanskar Mandal runs primary and secondary schools in Ajrai and nearby villages of Ambheta and Devsar, along with its sister institution Sarva Seva Kendra. It caters to the Adivasi (tribal) children of farm laborers of the impoverished rural communities in South Gujarat. It also conducts several health care, social and cultural projects for the upliftment of these tribal communities in the surrounding villages.
Halpati Seva Sangh was founded in 1961 in Bardoli to uplift the tribal Halpati community and rescue them from slave labor. It works for overall development of Halpati farm laborers on the basis of Gandhian principles of Nai Talim (new/model education) all over Gujarat. It runs 25 ashramshalas (schools) and 30 chhatralayas (hostels) for boys and girls, khadi gramodyog and sarvodya (education, employment, cleanliness, prohibition, industrial training) schemes and also provides free medical aid.
Gram Seva Mandal was founded in 1959 in rural hilly forested area of deep rural South Gujarat in the Vansda District to serve the Adivasi (tribal) children. It operates 5 primary and 2 secondary Ashramshalas (schools) in order to educate the tribal children based on Gandhiji's principles of model education.
Under the guidance of Jugatram Dave, Zinabhai Darji founded Gram Seva Samaj in 1959 for the economic development and social justice of the impoverished Adivasi (tribal) communities. Based in Vyara, South Gujarat, it runs 34 primary and secondary schools for their children based on Gandhiji's principle of model education (Nai Talim). It strives to teach spiritual attainment through Service.
Established in 2005 in Kukeri village near Navsari, Shantaba Vidyalaya provides free education and boarding to deprived children of rural tribal communities, many of whom are orphans. Run entirely through charitable donations, with a progressive mindset and learning through hands-on activities, it has significantly uplifted the lives of many impoverished children, especially girls.
